What is a pdo thread lift?

The PDO thread lift is one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate your looks without any surgical procedure. This minimally invasive process is designed to lift loose skin in a variety of areas, conferring a brighter and more youthful look.

This procedure is commonly done in common areas of sag on the face, including the cheeks, jowls, neck, and the area around the eyes. The versatility of Eurothreads allows them to be used for various procedures such as facelifts, breast lifts, arm lifts, butt lifts, and skin tightening. The PDO thread is known to produce dramatic and highly satisfying results.

Long-Lasting

It takes about 6 full months for the threads to dissolve and be fully absorbed by your body. However, the results have been known to last for no less than 2 years. This is because the procedure stimulates your body’s natural healing process, which causes your skin to begin producing new collagen and elastin. Therefore, even though the threads will be completely dissolved within a few months, PDO lifts are known to provide both effective, and long-lasting results.

What is it used for:

  • Lift sagging skin of the cheeks, jowls, eyebrows, neck, abdomen, arms, and thighs

  • Redefine the contour of the face (restoring the V-shape)

  • Improve the quality of the skin by increasing volume, thickness, and smoothness

  • Reduce wrinkles by stimulating collagen

  • Enhance volume of the lips

  • Stimulate collagen production

Types of threads:

lifting threads:

This PDO thread has tiny notches or barbs which when threaded under the skin catches the under surface of the skin and when pulled upward, lifts the skin. Not only does this suture lift, enhancing the contour of the area, but it also induces collagen formation which adds more support and volume over time.

Smooth threads:

Smooth PDO threads are straight and smooth sutures that are placed in zones to rejuvenate collagen where wrinkles and laxity are present. Often these are used in an organized mesh pattern or ‘ladder’ pattern to achieve the desired stimulation of collagen. The most common areas for smooth threads are forehead lines, crow’s feet, tear troughs, vertical lip lines, cheeks, marionette lines, neck, and various body areas.

Twisted threads:

The twist PDO threads are loaded on a needle in a twisted coil which when threaded under the skin stimulates new collagen production and increases volume. Twist PDO threads are used for improving frown lines, tear troughs (crease under the eyes), nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, and various body areas for rejuvenation.
